Who are the top food influencers on Instagram?

The best food influencers on Instagram aren’t simply the accounts with the most followers. Instagram shows videos to people based on how the video performs individually, not just based on who follows the creator. As a result, a small or midsized account can reach more people than one several times its size.

That’s why we rank Instagram food influencers by median views of their videos (the average number of people a typical video reaches). As of October 2026, the five most watched are Amaury Guichon, Kenny Song, Iram Mansoor, Luke West, and Jesha Ann Stevens.

The kinds of food creator on Instagram

  • Recipe creators: A dish from start to plate in under a minute, with the recipe in the caption, on a website, or sent by message.
  • Bakers and pastry chefs: Close shots of batter, dough, and frosting, from weeknight cookies to laminated pastry.
  • Chefs: Trained cooks who teach one technique at a time: a sauce, a cut of steak, a French classic.
  • Mukbang and challenge creators: Eating on camera as the show, from big takeout orders to couples’ taste games, often with no talking.
  • Restaurant reviewers: The walk in, the order, the first bite, and the price, one restaurant or chain at a time.

The 69 Instagram food influencers to know

Grouped by how a food or kitchen brand would use them, from a product cooked into dinner to a menu item tasted on camera. The number beside each name is the creator’s overall rank.

What’s working in food Instagram this month

We analyzed the 939 posts these 69 creators published on Instagram in the last 30 days. Of those, 106 beat their creator’s usual views by 3× or more.

Here is how this month’s breakouts open, read from what each video says in its first seconds, or from its caption when nobody speaks.

1. No talking, just the dish

“Tarte Tatin but make it fancy.”

The most common breakout opening this month is no opening at all: the dish filmed close up over a song, with its name in the caption. It comes from 13 creators, and they post their usual Reels the same way, so the silence is how they work rather than what made these Reels break out.

62M views · 51.7× their usual

What changed was the dish. Several of the biggest were October bakes: a Halloween sourdough loaf, Coraline cinnamon rolls, Halloween brownies, and a chocolate marble pumpkin bread. Nobody names a product out loud in these Reels, so a brand has to show in the picture or the caption.

2. Straight to the dish

“This is Huevos Rancheros.”

The creator names the dish before anything else, as in “Let’s eat a seafood boil” or “Welcome to Smash and Scoop.” Recipe creators and mukbang accounts both open this way.

3.5M views · 4.5× their usual

Their usual Reels open the same way, so the line is the format. What changed was the dish or the setting: two sandwiches from a creator whose usual Reel is a roundup of New York restaurants, and a seafood boil eaten on camera by a creator whose usual Reel cooks one.

3. The payoff promised up front

“If you want to eat more fiber, make pudding.”

The first sentence tells viewers what they will get: “This is how you can make the most incredible, healthy 150 calorie chicken summer rolls.” All five of these breakouts come from health-focused creators, and three of them put a number or a nutrient in that line: calories, grams of protein, or fiber.

5.8M views · 14.3× their usual

It is the one opening that is clearly more common in the breakouts than in the usual Reels, where it turns up once. For a brand with a nutrition claim, that first sentence is where the claim lands, so agree on its exact words.

This month’s 3 biggest breakout videos

Ian Martin: “So the other day, I went to a spot where there’s only one thing you can order on the menu and a lot of people say it’s not only one of the cheapest, but one of the best steak frites that you can get in the city” reached 5.6M views, 25.9× their usual.

Anali Cabrera: “who knew you could enjoy seafood boil takeout?” reached 8.1M views, 23.3× their usual.

Instagram food benchmarks by account size

This table shows what the food accounts on this list do at each size on Instagram. Use it to judge whether a creator’s numbers are strong for their tier.

The figures are medians across these 69 accounts, from each account’s recent videos. “Sponsored posts” is the share of posts in the 90 days to Oct 25, 2026, that carry a paid-partnership label or a stated sponsor, or are part of a brand campaign.

How to choose a food creator on Instagram

If you are booking food creators for an Instagram campaign, how your product appears in the Reel, where the recipe link goes, and what the creator already sells matter as much as reach.

1. Decide whether your product gets cooked or tasted

A recipe creator builds a dish around the product and shows each step, so viewers see how to use it. A mukbang or review account eats it, and the reaction is the content.

An ingredient, a pan, or an appliance belongs with the cooks. A snack, a drink, or a new menu item can go either way, and the eaters bring a crowd that watches for the bite.

2. Settle where the recipe and your link land

Many of the cooks here ask viewers to comment a word and then send the recipe by direct message, and others keep it on their own website or in the caption. Your product link can ride in that message or sit on the recipe page.

Agree on which one before the Reel goes up, and on how the Reel itself says that it is paid, since a message or a web page is not where most viewers see the post.

3. Look for their own cookbook and sauces

Of the 69, 26 have a cookbook out or on preorder, and several sell their own sauces, seasonings, or cookware. Ask which of their own products will appear in the same Reel, and make sure none of them competes with yours.

4. Weigh one Reel against their month

Five of the ten highest medians belong to creators who posted four Reels or fewer in the 30 days. For them, one paid Reel can be a quarter or more of the month’s Reels.

Others post daily, and a series of three or four Reels fits the way they already work.

How we built this Instagram influencer list

We identified and ranked these creators by searching hundreds of thousands of top-performing food posts across Instagram with Klint.

We rank by median views across each creator’s recent Reels, so one viral Reel can’t lift an account up the list. Creators from any country qualify if they post in English or with no words, at least half of their recent posts are about food, and their typical Reel reaches 200,000 views.

To get this list or a similar one for yourself, describe the creators you’re looking for in the Klint web app, or paste this prompt into any AI agent connected to Klint:

Questions about Instagram food influencers

Who are the top food influencers on Instagram?

As of October 2026 the top five food Instagram influencers by median views are Amaury Guichon, Kenny Song, Iram Mansoor, Luke West, and Jesha Ann Stevens.

Who is the biggest food influencer on Instagram?

Amaury Guichon leads on both counts, with 19M followers and 9M views on a typical Reel. The Reels are chocolate sculptures and pastry, with no talking.

How do I find food influencers on Instagram?

By hand, search Instagram for the dish your product goes into, such as “air fryer salmon” or “protein cookies,” and note who posts it with a recipe. Then check which of them post Collabs with other food brands. Klint runs that search in one request, for example “Instagram recipe creators under 1M followers who cook with an air fryer.”

How much do food influencers on Instagram charge?

It depends on the format (a Reel, a Collab post, a carousel, or stories), whether the creator develops a new recipe for your product, how long you can run the Reel as an ad, and whether you ask them to leave out a competing brand. Restaurant reviewers are often hosted for a meal, while recipe creators are usually paid for the recipe and the Reel together, with the product sent ahead.

Why are some famous food influencers not on this list?

Three rules decide it: a typical recent Reel above 200,000 views, at least six Reels in 90 days, and food in at least half of the recent posts. Nick DiGiovanni posted four Reels in 90 days, and most of Keith Lee’s recent posts were not about food, so neither qualifies this month.

Can a creator ask to be removed?

Yes. Any creator can ask to be taken off Klint’s lists, and the request applies to every page they would otherwise appear on.
