Terms of Service

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Klint. It covers the Klint agent, the MCP server, the API, and this website.

Last updated October 19, 2026

1. This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Klint LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. “Klint” means Klint LLC. The “Services” are the Klint agent, the Klint MCP server, the Klint API, and this website, together with anything else Klint makes available under these terms.

By using the Services you accept these terms, and they take effect between you and Klint from that moment. If you are using the Services for a company, you accept them for that company, and you confirm you are allowed to.

The Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy are part of this agreement.

If you have a separate agreement

If you and Klint have signed a separate written agreement covering the Services, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.

2. What the Services do

The Services collect information that people publish publicly on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, and return it as structured data. A “Creator” is a person whose public posts or public profile appear in the Services. “Output” means the information the Services return to you, whether through the agent, the MCP server, or the API.

Some Output is what Klint observed. Some of it is Klint’s own reading of what it observed. Section 8 explains why that difference matters.

Klint is not a consumer reporting agency, and Klint is not a background screening service. Klint does not provide consumer reports, and Output must not be used to make the decisions listed in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Klint may change, add to, or remove parts of the Services. Klint may also change which platforms the Services cover and what Output they return.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. The Services are for business use, and are not offered to consumers.

You must give Klint accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current. You must tell Klint what you plan to use the Services for, and you must use them for that purpose. If that changes, you must tell Klint.

You are responsible for your account, your API keys, and everything done with them. You must keep your keys secret and must not share them. Tell Klint promptly if you think a key has been exposed.

Klint sets limits on how much you may request in a period. Those limits are part of this agreement, not just a technical setting. You must not work around them, run more accounts to get more capacity, or send automated traffic designed to defeat them.

4. What you may do with Output

Klint gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Output for your own business, for the purpose you told Klint about. This right lasts while this agreement lasts.

That right is subject to the rights of Creators over information about them. If a Creator’s rights require Klint to stop providing information, your right to that information ends with it.

You must not:

  • resell Output, redistribute it, or give another company access to it, unless Klint agrees in writing;
  • use Output to build a product or dataset that competes with the Services, or to assemble your own standing database of Creators;
  • publish the posts, captions, images, or transcripts contained in Output;
  • try to identify a person from Output beyond the public account the Output belongs to;
  • take information out of the Services by any route other than the API and the interfaces Klint provides.

Training models

You must not use Output to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve a machine learning or artificial intelligence model. You may index Output, embed it, store it, and otherwise process it as needed to retrieve it and run your own product — which is what the Services are for. The line is that Output may inform what your systems do; it must not be absorbed into a model’s weights, because once it is there neither you nor Klint can take it out again.

Klint keeps all rights in the Services: the software, the way the data is structured and organized, and the classifications Klint produces. Creators keep the rights in what they published.

5. Output Klint asks you to delete

Sometimes Klint has to stop providing information it has already given you. A Creator objects to being included, a provider withdraws the information, or a platform requires it.

If Klint asks you to delete specific Output, you must delete it, including from any copy you made of it.

6. Fees

If your plan has a fee, you must pay it as described when you sign up. Fees exclude taxes, and you are responsible for taxes on what you buy. Klint may change its prices, and will tell you before a change applies to you.

If you do not pay, Klint may suspend your access until you do.

7. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Breaking it is a breach of this agreement. Klint may update that policy, and will post the updated version on this site.

8. What Klint does not promise

Accuracy

Klint gives no warranty about the accuracy, currency, completeness, reliability, or usefulness of Output. This is true of both kinds of Output, and for different reasons.

  • Output Klint observed — profiles, posts, and the numbers a platform showed — is reproduced as Klint received it. Klint does not verify it, and a platform can be wrong, can change, or can show different people different things.
  • Output Klint created — subjects, performance against an account’s own baseline, whether a post looks commercial, written summaries, and machine transcripts — is produced by automated classification. It is an estimate. It is not a statement of fact about a person, and you must not treat it as one.

Content Klint did not write

Most of what Output contains was written by other people and published on platforms Klint does not control. Klint passes it on as it found it. Klint does not endorse it, cannot vouch for it, and does not check it for safety.

That content can be hostile on purpose. A caption, a biography, a comment, or words spoken in a video can contain text written to be read by an AI system and to make it behave in a way its operator did not intend. If you send Output into an agent, a model, or any automated process, you are responsible for how your systems handle it — for treating it as untrusted data rather than as instructions, and for the consequences of any action your systems take because of it.

Freshness

Output reflects what Klint saw, when Klint saw it. Klint tells you when that was. Klint has no obligation to keep any particular record current. If a Creator makes an account private or deletes a post, Klint stops refreshing it and stops returning it in new Output — so a result you stored may describe something that no longer exists.

Availability

Klint does not guarantee that the Services will be available or uninterrupted. The Services depend on platforms and providers Klint does not control, and their changes, outages, and blocking can reduce what Klint can return. Klint gives no service level commitment unless it has agreed one with you in writing.

Early features

Klint may offer features marked as beta, preview, or early access. They are provided for evaluation, may change or stop without notice, and carry no warranty or support commitment of any kind.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, Klint disclaims all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Your responsibility for how you use the Services

“Your Content” means what you send to the Services: the questions you ask, the instructions you give, and any files you provide. You keep whatever rights you hold in Your Content.

You decide what to ask and what to do with the answer. You are responsible for that, and for complying with the laws that apply to you — including privacy, data protection, marketing, and advertising law.

You are also responsible for complying with the terms of any platform your use of the Services touches. If you act on Output — contacting Creators, publishing content, running campaigns, or operating accounts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or X — you must follow that platform’s own rules. This agreement gives you no rights under anyone else’s terms.

If you receive information about people from the Services and process it, you do so on your own account, and you are responsible for deciding whether you may, for telling people if you must, and for handling their requests. Klint’s responsibilities for its own data are in the Privacy Policy.

10. Confidentiality

“Confidential Information” means information one party learns from the other that is not public — pricing, plans, technical details, and anything marked or reasonably understood to be confidential. Each party must keep the other’s Confidential Information in confidence, use it only to perform this agreement, and protect it as carefully as it protects its own.

This does not apply to information that is already public, that a party already had, that it works out independently, or that it receives from someone free to share it. A party may disclose Confidential Information where the law requires, and will tell the other party first where it is allowed to.

11. You indemnify Klint

You will defend Klint against any third-party claim that arises from your use of the Services, your breach of this agreement, or your breach of someone else’s rights or of the law, and you will pay the damages, costs, and reasonable legal fees finally awarded or agreed in settlement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost business, even if it was warned they were possible.

To the extent the law allows, each party’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid Klint in the twelve months before the claim arose. If you have paid Klint nothing, that amount is one hundred United States dollars.

This section does not limit your obligations under section 11, or either party’s liability for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time, and may cancel a paid plan as described when you signed up.

Klint may suspend or end your access if you breach this agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy, if you use the Services for something other than the purpose you told Klint, if you do not pay, or if Klint reasonably believes your use creates a legal or security risk. Klint will tell you where it can, and may act first where the risk is immediate.

When this agreement ends, your right to use the Services and to use Output ends with it, and you must stop using them and delete the Output you hold. Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 16 continue to apply.

14. Complaints about content

If you own rights in something the Services hold or return, or you believe Output infringes your rights, write to privacy@tryklint.ai. Describe what the material is, where you saw it, and why you believe you have grounds. Klint will review it.

If you are a Creator and want Klint to remove or correct information about you, the Privacy Policy explains what Klint holds and how to ask.

15. Changes to these terms

Klint may change these terms. Klint will post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change is material, Klint will tell customers before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, you accept it.

16. Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Informal resolution

Before starting a formal dispute, you and Klint will try to resolve it informally. Write to help@tryklint.ai describing the dispute. Neither party will start arbitration for ninety days after that notice.

Arbitration

If the dispute is not resolved, it will be settled by binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Delaware, before one arbitrator. Either party may instead bring a claim in a court in Delaware for an injunction, or about intellectual property.

No class actions

Disputes will be brought individually. Neither party may bring a dispute as a class action, a collective action, or a representative action, and an arbitrator has no authority to hear one.

Time limit

A claim under this agreement must be brought within one year after it arose, or it is waived.

17. Other terms

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by something outside its reasonable control, including acts of nature, war, civil unrest, labor action, failures of the internet or of a hosting or network provider, government action, and changes a platform makes to what it publishes or to how it permits access.

Export control and sanctions

You must comply with export control and sanctions laws. You confirm you are not located in, and will not use the Services in, a country subject to comprehensive United States sanctions, and that you are not a person United States law prohibits dealing with.

Feedback

If you send Klint ideas or suggestions, Klint may use them freely, with no obligation to you and no payment.

Relationship of the parties

You and Klint are independent of each other. This agreement does not create a partnership, a joint venture, an agency, or an employment relationship, and neither party may bind the other.

No third-party beneficiaries

This agreement is between you and Klint. No other person has any right to enforce it.

Assignment, severability, and waiver

You may not transfer this agreement without Klint’s written consent. Klint may transfer it to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of its business.

If a provision of this agreement cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If Klint does not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of it.

Entire agreement and notices

This agreement, with the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy, is the whole agreement between you and Klint about the Services, and replaces anything said before it.

Klint may send you notices by email or in the product. Send notices to Klint at help@tryklint.ai.
