Key takeaways

  • YouTube gives 16 of the 20 their biggest audience per video, against 3 for TikTok and 1 for Instagram. For 12 of the 16 YouTube channels, the best video of the month was a long one, not a Short.
  • Only 7 of the 20 filmed most of this month’s videos in the UK. Mat Armstrong, Max Fosh, and Simon Wilson filmed mostly abroad, and the rest filmed in a studio or at home, or over game footage or news clips, with no place shown.
  • 13 of the 20 posted 5 times or fewer in the last 30 days. Mat Armstrong ranks first with 2 videos in that time.

Who are the UK’s biggest influencers?

The best influencers in the UK aren’t simply the accounts with the most followers. YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram all show videos to people based on how the video performs individually, not just based on who follows the creator. As a result, a small or mid-sized account can reach more people than one several times its size.

That’s why we rank UK influencers by median views of their videos (the average number of people a typical video reaches). As of October 2026, the five most watched are Mat Armstrong, Futcrunch, Mrwhosetheboss, BeardMeatsFood, and Sidemen.

UK influencers by platform and subject

  • UK YouTubers: Long challenge films, build series, and explainers, with Shorts cut from them.
  • UK TikTokers: News, comedy, and everyday clips, often posted several times a week.
  • UK Instagram influencers: Home, outfit, and family Reels, with photo posts and Stories between them.
  • UK fashion influencers: Outfit videos built from high-street, designer, and second-hand wardrobes.
  • UK fitness influencers: Training, running, and gym videos, from home workouts to bodybuilding.

The 20 UK influencers to know

Seven groups, by the kind of video: challenges, sport, food and travel, cars, explainers, gaming, and life at home. The number beside each name is the creator’s overall rank.

Big-premise challenge videos

Elaborate setups with friends, strangers, or famous guests. Made as long videos, then cut into Shorts.

05 Sidemen Verified

A group of seven friends with one big challenge video every Sunday: last to leave, hide and seek, and cheap against expensive. Shot in houses, restaurants, and on trips, often with other YouTubers as guests.

What’s working in UK content this month

We analysed the 142 posts these 20 creators published on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram in the last 30 days. Of those, 9 beat their creator’s usual views by 3× or more.

Here is how this month’s breakouts open, read from what each video says in its first seconds, or from its caption when nobody speaks.

1. Start mid-conversation

“Oh, you’re kidding.”

Four breakouts open mid-conversation, before any introduction: three from JOLLY at the table and one from Alex Alvanis, who asks a gym-goer “Are you dizzy?” mid-handstand. Both channels start their ordinary posts mid-conversation too, so the cold open is the format, not what changed.

The first frame of JOLLY’s YouTube video
8.1M views · 8× their usual

For JOLLY, what the breakouts share is the matchup. Three of its four put British tasters in front of a classic American dish: Southern fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, and a Thanksgiving dinner. The two usual posts were jellied eels for an American guest and a sweet-and-salty plate for the grandparents from the fried-chicken video.

2. React before the news

“Holy hell, bro.”

Both breakouts that open this way come from Dylan Page, and each puts a reaction before the facts: an exclamation over France’s protests, and a jab at South Africa’s “John Wick” fathers over dashcam footage.

The first frame of Dylan Page’s TikTok video
24M views · 5.8× their usual

The usual posts of the month open straight on the news (“Elon Musk has just promised…”) or play with no voice at all.

3. Set a test the viewer can play

“Which AI can guess exactly how many jelly beans are in this jar?”

The one breakout that opens this way, from Mrwhosetheboss, was the month’s most watched. It opens on a test anyone can play along with, then runs it on each AI assistant in turn.

The usual videos of the month open on a verdict about a phone (“the $2,000 iPhone Duo is all about trade-offs”) or a numbered list of features.

This month’s 2 biggest breakout videos

Alex Alvanis: “I taught him how to do THIS 🤯💀” reached 26M views, 10× their usual.

Nella Rose: “Bye man 🤣🤣” reached 5.2M views, 4.6× their usual.

UK influencer benchmarks by account size

This table shows what the UK influencers on this list do at each size on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Use it to judge whether a creator’s numbers are strong for their tier.

TierFollowersMedian viewsEngagementPosts a weekSponsored posts
Macro1M to 2M2.3M2.8%0.733%
Mega2M to 10M1.4M3.3%0.926%
MegaOver 10M4.7M2.4%1.315%

The figures are medians across these 20 accounts, from each account’s recent videos. “Sponsored posts” is the share of posts in the 90 days to 25 Oct 2026 that carry a paid-partnership or paid-promotion label or a stated sponsor, or are part of a brand campaign.

How to choose a creator in the UK

If you’re a UK brand picking your first creator from a list this broad, start with the format you need, and then check the things a follower count hides.

1. Settle the format first

16 of these 20 are YouTube channels. On YouTube a sponsor usually buys a segment inside a long video; on TikTok and Instagram the post itself is the ad.

Ask which one you’re buying and where your segment sits in the video.

2. Book early

Most of these creators post a few times a month, not a few times a week: the top-ranked channel uploaded 2 videos in 30 days. A slot in one of those videos is scarce, so ask for the release date before you agree the brief.

3. Check who paid them this quarter

VPN brands paid 4 of these creators in the last 90 days, more than any other kind of sponsor, and only 3 ran no sponsored post at all. If a creator read a competitor’s ad last month, ask about exclusivity before you brief them.

4. Settle the “ad” label in writing

The Competition and Markets Authority’s guidance for content creators says an ad must be clear as soon as someone sees it, with a label such as “ad” or “advert”. A brand tag, a discount code, or “#gifted” is not enough.

Put the label, and where it goes, in the brief, so it is not left to the edit.

5. Ask where it will be filmed

Many of these videos are made in a studio, abroad, or from game footage. If you need a British high street, a UK store, or a local event in shot, say so before the deal, not after the first cut.

How we built this UK influencer list

We identified and ranked these creators by searching hundreds of thousands of top-performing posts on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram from the United Kingdom with Klint.

We rank by median views across each creator’s recent videos, so one viral post can’t lift an account up the list. Creators qualify if they live in the UK now and are known for their own videos: groups and duos count, while brands, media channels, and stars promoting music, film, sport, or TV do not.

To get this list or a similar one for yourself, describe the creators you’re looking for in the Klint web app, or paste this prompt into any AI agent connected to Klint:

Questions about UK influencers

Who are the UK’s biggest influencers?

As of October 2026 the top five UK influencers by median views are Mat Armstrong, Futcrunch, Mrwhosetheboss, BeardMeatsFood, and Sidemen.

Who is the most followed influencer in the UK?

On this list, Futcrunch has the most, with 24.2 million YouTube subscribers, ahead of Sidemen (23.4 million) and Mrwhosetheboss (23 million). None of them ranks first: Mat Armstrong does, with 7.9 million, because a typical video reaches more people.

Which platforms does this list cover?

YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. A creator appears only under the platform that gives their typical video the biggest audience: 16 on YouTube, 3 on TikTok, and 1 on Instagram.

Why aren’t Beta Squad, Niko Omilana, or Zoella on the list?

They post too rarely right now. Beta Squad uploaded 3 YouTube videos in the last 90 days and Niko Omilana 1, and Zoella’s last Instagram post was on 1 January. The list needs 6 posts in 90 days, so views from older videos cannot hold a place. Singers, actors, athletes, and TV presenters are left off too, however big their accounts.

How do I find UK influencers for my brand?

By hand, search each platform for creators in your category, and then check that they live in the UK, not only that they post about it: their bio, their own words, and where their videos are filmed. Klint does the search in one go, for example “UK food creators on YouTube who film in British restaurants”.

How much do UK influencers charge?

The format sets most of it. A segment inside a long YouTube film costs something different from a Short, a TikTok, or a Reel built around your product. Exclusivity, usage rights, and the creator’s usual views per video move it further, so ask for recent view counts before you agree a fee.

Can a creator ask to be removed?

Yes. Any creator can ask to be taken off Klint’s lists, and the request applies to every page they would otherwise appear on.
