The best fitness influencers in India aren’t simply the accounts with the most followers. Instagram and YouTube both show videos to people based on how the video performs individually, not just based on who follows the creator. As a result, a small or mid-sized account can reach more people than one several times its size.
That’s why we rank Indian fitness influencers by median views of their videos (average number of people a typical video reaches). As of October 2026, the five most-watched are Rhythm Bhatia, Rohit Khatri, Akshay Kakkar, Bhupendra Raghuwanshi and Saket Gokhale.
The kinds of fitness creator India watches
Gym coaches: Trainers who teach one lift, one mistake, or one fat-loss rule per Reel, mostly in Hindi.
Bodybuilders: Mr India and pro-card athletes posting contest prep, heavy sets, and posing.
Transformation diarists: People losing or gaining weight on camera, with a day count or a kilo count in every caption.
Desi diet explainers: Protein from dal, paneer, and eggs, healthy versions of Indian snacks, and supplement timing.
Yoga teachers: Asanas, mobility flows, and breathing routines, often in English and filmed at home or in a studio.

What’s working in Indian fitness content this month
We analyzed the 403 posts these 20 creators published on Instagram and YouTube in the last 30 days. Of those, 34 beat their creator’s usual views by 3× or more.
Here are the hooks that are working, read from each post’s caption, title, or on-screen text.
1. A line about the creator, not the workout (44% of breakout posts)
“Day 18 of getting of bodybuilding show with loose skin ❤️🫂”
The caption is an update from the creator’s own life, and the Reel shows where that life meets the gym: a day count toward a bodybuilding show after a 65 kg weight loss, a crew of lifters lined up for a group flex. No opening produced more breakouts this month, and five different creators used it.
Only 7 of these 15 are about training. The others are a gift unboxing, a haircut, a family moment, a reply to critics. The reach follows the person, so a fitness product fits only where the update already happens in the gym.
2. The rule in the caption (29% of breakout posts)
“Perfect fatloss is a simple science,There are just 4steps in fatloss and removing belly fat and getting abs ,”
The caption states the lesson before the Reel shows it: four steps to lose belly fat, when to take each supplement, Indian snacks that won’t make you fat, a month of groceries for a fitness diet, a workout with a mudgar.
These come from six creators, and the nutrition accounts lead. It is the format a brand can brief most directly, because a protein powder or a snack can be one of the steps.
3. No line at all (12% of breakout posts)
“Reposted ✅”
Four breakouts opened with no line to read: no caption, a string of hashtags, or a single word. The first frame carries the post instead, like a split screen of fruit for weight gain against fruit for weight loss.
Half of them come from one creator, and only one is about fitness, so this is a small pattern. It says more about the first frame than about the caption: when the caption is empty, the opening image has to name the topic.
This month’s 3 biggest breakout videos
Haider Malik: “Team HM Fitness 😎🔥 edit by @mirza_nayab__” reached 7.9M views, 20.3× their usual.
Jeet Selal: “I know you’re doing the same mistake 🫵🏼 .” reached 2.6M views, 4.7× their usual.

How to choose a fitness creator in India
If you’re hiring fitness creators in India for a supplement, sportswear, or fitness-app launch, settle these four things before you talk about fees.
1. Match the language to the states you sell in
Hindi, Hinglish, and Haryanvi creators speak to the north and the west. For buyers in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, or Bengal, a creator who speaks their language is the more direct route, even with a smaller following.
Ask each creator for the cities and states of the audience, not only the country.
2. See whether the feed is still about training
Several of the best-known names in Indian fitness now post fight promotion, home remedies, travel, or comedy more often than training. Open the last 30 posts and count the ones about workouts or food for training. If they are under half, the audience follows the person, and a protein or gym product will sit oddly in the feed.
3. Read the codes in the bio
Supplement brands in India often work through discount codes, and one creator can carry codes for two or three brands at once. Read the bio and the last few captions before you brief: a creator who already promotes a rival whey or creatine needs an exclusivity clause, and a fee to match.
We identified and ranked these creators by searching hundreds of thousands of top performing fitness posts on Instagram and YouTube from India with Klint.
We rank by median views across each creator’s recent videos, so one viral post can’t lift an account up the list. Creators qualify if they live in India and at least half of their recent posts are about training, workouts, or food for fitness, in any Indian language.

Questions about Indian fitness influencers
Who are the top fitness influencers in India right now?
As of October 2026 the top five Indian fitness influencers by median views are Rhythm Bhatia, Rohit Khatri, Akshay Kakkar, Bhupendra Raghuwanshi and Saket Gokhale.
Who is the biggest fitness influencer in India?
By followers, Rohit Khatri, with 2.7M on Instagram. By reach, Rhythm Bhatia: a typical Reel gets 2.5M views from an account of 73.3K followers.
Why are Guru Mann, Sahil Khan, and Nitesh Soni not on this list?
Guru Mann and Sahil Khan are left out because their channels and recent posts place them in the United States and the United Arab Emirates, and the list covers creators based in India. Nitesh Soni, Pawan Sahu, Ankit Baiyanpuria, and Gaurav Taneja are left out because fewer than half of their latest posts are about fitness: home remedies, fight promotion, travel, and family now fill most of their feeds.
Which platforms does this list cover?
Instagram and YouTube, because TikTok has been banned in India since 2020. 18 of the 20 are listed on Instagram and 2 on YouTube; a creator active on both is listed once, on the platform where a typical video reaches more people.
How do brands find fitness influencers in India?
By hand, a brand searches Instagram for fitness hashtags in Hindi and in each regional language, then opens every Reels tab to check recent views and the codes in the bio. Klint does it in one request, such as “Tamil fitness creators who promote whey protein and average over 300K views”, and ranks the answer by median views.
How much do fitness influencers in India charge?
The format and the language market move the price more than the follower count: a scripted Reel, a dedicated YouTube video, and a code in the bio are priced differently. Exclusivity matters in this niche, because many creators already hold codes for rival protein brands, and usage rights for ads add to the fee.
Can a creator ask to be removed?
Yes. Any creator can ask to be taken off Klint’s lists, and the request applies to every page they would otherwise appear on.
