Top 38 hair influencers

The top hair influencers in 2026 are Mo Styles, Grant Branham, Abbey Yung, Dave Curls, and Eric Michael. This list ranks 38 hair influencers by median views across their recent videos, not by follower count. Each one was found by searching across hundreds of thousands of top-performing posts in the hair niche.

Examples of what you can ask Klint:

  • Show me the top hair influencers this month. Klint returns 38 hair influencers, ranked by median views.
  • Barbers with big followings on TikTok and Instagram. Klint returns 8 barbers, each filming one client per clip.
  • Curly hair creators who name their products. Klint returns 5 curly and wavy hair creators, filming wash days and routines.
  • Hair creators who haven’t run a paid post lately. Klint returns 11 hair creators, with no sponsored post in the last 90 days.
  • Which hooks are working in hair content right now? Klint returns 3 hook patterns, across 89 breakout posts.

Key takeaways

  • 8 of the 38 sell a hair product of their own, from extensions and wigs to styling powder, so a brand in the same category is asking them to post next to their own line.
  • Of the 8 barbers, 3 ran a sponsored post in the last 90 days, and every one was for clippers, barber tools, or booking software, not haircare.
  • For 6 creators, the usual post reaches more people than follow the account. The clearest case is Helena Brookes, a colorist with 22.8K followers whose usual post reaches 58.5K views.

Who are the biggest hair influencers?

The best hair influencers aren’t simply the accounts with the most followers. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube all show videos to people based on how the video performs individually, not just based on who follows the creator. As a result, a small or midsized account can reach more people than one several times its size.

That’s why we rank hair influencers by median views of their videos (the average number of people a typical video reaches). As of November 2026, the five most watched are Mo Styles, Grant Branham, Abbey Yung, Dave Curls, and Eric Michael.

The kinds of hair influencer, by what they film

  • Hairstylists: Colorists and stylists filming client transformations from the chair, often with the formula on screen.
  • Barbers: Fades, buzzcuts, and consultation cuts, usually one client and one reveal per clip.
  • Curly hair influencers: Wash days, gels, and diffusing on curls and waves, with the products named as they go.
  • Hair TikTokers: Quick hacks, matchmaking cuts, and before-and-after reveals made for the For You feed.
  • Hair YouTubers: Shorts of wash days and salon color, plus long, quiet films from barbershops abroad.

The 38 hair influencers to know

Sorted by the hair work on camera, from the salon chair to the bathroom mirror. The number beside each name is the creator’s overall rank.

In the salon chair

Colorists, extension specialists, and stylists filming client transformations. A fit for professional color, bond care, and tools.

05 Eric Michael

Salon color work told from the chair: a “POV” line about the client, the color process, then the reveal. Most clips are blonde corrections and balayage, narrated to camera over the work.

What’s working in hair content this month

We analyzed the 549 posts these 38 creators published on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube in the last 30 days. Of those, 89 beat their creator’s usual views by 3× or more.

Here is how this month’s breakouts open, read from what each video says in its first seconds, or from its caption when nobody speaks.

1. The silent transformation

“Ngl I’m surprised of the results myself 😮”

In most of the month’s breakouts, no one says a word. A song plays, the hair changes on screen, and the caption or the words on screen do the work a spoken hook would do. Heatless curls, salon color, and curl routines all broke out this way.

The first frame of Dave Curls’s TikTok video
28M views · 58.4× their usual

Many of these creators’ usual posts are silent too, so silence is part of the format, not the whole trick. What the breakouts added was a count on screen: Dave Curls’s video labels each stage, from “Wet hair (100% Bald)” to styled, and the viewer stays for the last number.

2. The client talks first

“I grew my hair and beard out for you.”

Barbers and salon stylists open on the client’s own words, recorded in the chair: a wife’s two rules, a wedding on Tuesday, a style grown for nine years. The viewer hears what is at stake before seeing the hair.

The first frame of Grant Branham’s Instagram video
11M views · 13× their usual

These creators start their usual posts the same way, so the line alone does not make a breakout. What set the breakouts apart was the size of the before: a beard grown out just for this cut, a haircut put off for three years, a drive of several hours to reach the chair.

3. The hair problem, named

“So you have blonde blindness?”

A smaller group of breakouts opens by naming what is wrong: a blonde the client can no longer see, a first salon visit that went badly, a cowlick, a gap in a hairline. The fix fills the rest of the video.

The first frame of Eric Michael’s TikTok video
1.4M views · 3.6× their usual

Colorists and barbers both use it, and it suits a repair product well: the problem the product solves is the first thing the viewer hears.

This month’s 3 biggest breakout videos

Nicole Renae: “POV: You ask a random woman if you can buzz all her hair off (PART1/2)” reached 9.8M views, 101.3× their usual.

Nichole Ciotti: “Decisions, decisions… 💁‍♀️ Comment SHOP and I’ll send you a DM with links to the hair ties & everything I’m wearing!” reached 8M views, 42.4× their usual.

How to choose a hair creator

If you sell shampoo, color, tools, or extensions, the right hair creator depends less on size than on whose hair is on camera and why.

1. Match the hair on camera to the product

A curl cream needs curls on camera, and a bond treatment needs bleached hair. Check what hair a creator films most, their own or their clients’. A routine shown on straight hair says little to a buyer with tight curls.

2. Choose between the chair and the mirror

Stylists and barbers lend a product professional weight, and other stylists watch them. Creators who style their own hair sell the idea that a viewer can do it at home. Pick the side your buyer is on.

3. Find out whose product line they run

Many hair creators have an extensions line, a styling powder, or a course of their own. A competing product is a conflict to settle before the brief, and the creator’s own launches will share the feed with yours.

4. Look for a patch test in color content

For an at-home color brand, watch how a creator handles safety. The FDA advises a patch test every time before dyeing hair, and a creator who already shows one on camera will not need to be talked into it.

How we built this hair influencer list

We identified and ranked these creators by searching hundreds of thousands of top-performing hair posts across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube with Klint.

We rank by median views across each creator’s recent videos, so one viral post can’t lift an account up the list. Creators from any country qualify if they post in English or with no words, and if at least half of their recent posts are about hair: cutting, coloring, styling, or caring for it.

To get this list or a similar one for yourself, describe the creators you’re looking for in the Klint web app, or paste this prompt into any AI agent connected to Klint:

Questions about hair influencers

Who are the biggest hair influencers?

As of November 2026 the top five hair influencers by median views are Mo Styles, Grant Branham, Abbey Yung, Dave Curls, and Eric Michael.

Who are some popular hair influencers on TikTok?

Ranked by median views, the leading hair creators on TikTok here are Dave Curls, Eric Michael, miarubycalloway, and Alfredo Lewis. 10 of the 38 rank highest on TikTok.

Which platforms are hair influencers on?

21 of the 38 rank highest on Instagram, 10 on TikTok, and 7 on YouTube. A creator with several accounts is placed where a typical post of theirs is watched most, and appears only there.

How do I find hair influencers for my brand?

Most hair brands start with the stylists and barbers who already use their products on clients, then search hashtags for the hair type they sell to. With Klint you can skip the hashtags and describe the creator instead: ask for “curly hair creators in the UK who test leave-ins,” and it returns a ranked list like this one.

How much do hair influencers charge?

Rates are private, but hair deals usually take one of two forms: product sent to a stylist or barber who uses it on clients, or a paid post from a creator who styles their own hair. Salon creators often add the formula or a lesson for other stylists, which costs more than a single post. Ask for the usual views of recent posts before agreeing on a fee.

Why isn’t Brad Mondo on this list?

Brad Mondo’s long hair-reaction videos still draw big audiences, but most of his recent YouTube uploads are Shorts, and the median across all of them is under this list’s floor of 50K views. Most of his recent TikToks are not about hair, and the same is true of the recent posts of Jen Atkin and Chris Appleton.

Can a creator ask to be removed?

Yes. Any creator can ask to be taken off Klint’s lists, and the request applies to every page they would otherwise appear on.
